One of the tastiest and easiest salads to prepare is Greek, which is based on vegetables, feta cheese, oregano, salt, olives, and oil. But it's worth noting that it can also be prepared differently by adding just a few new ingredients, such as cereals and spices.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared an original recipe for a delicious Greek salad with couscous on his YouTube channel (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Couscous for salad

Ingredients:

  • couscous – 150 g
Vegetables for the dish
  • Feta cheese – 150 g
  • olives – 100 g
Sweet peppers
  • cucumbers – 2-3 pcs
  • sweet pepper – 1 pc
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp
Olive oil
  • mint – 2 sprigs
  • salt, pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Put the couscous in a deep bowl, add salt and olive oil, pour boiling water, and mix with a fork, be sure to cover and leave for only 5 minutes.

2. Then stir again with a fork so that the grains do not stick together.

3. Wash the vegetables and cut them into cubes.

4. Cut the cheese into large cubes as well.

5. Put everything in a bowl, mix, add mint, mix, and season with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, mix again, and serve a delicious, hearty salad immediately.
