Gourmet beet salad: how to make a masterpiece from simple ingredients

If you have boiled beets left over after cooking a dish, why not turn them into a delicious salad? The result is a delicious salad made from ingredients that everyone has in their fridge.

A food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina cooking knows how to cook beetroot salad to create a real gastronomic masterpiece. On Instagram, she told us what other ingredients are needed.

Ingredients

  • Boiled beetroot – 2-3 pcs
  • Boiled eggs – 3 pcs
  • Hard cheese – 120 gr
  • Roasted walnuts – 100 gr
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Prunes – 80-100 gr
  • Mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method of preparation

1. Grate boiled beets, eggs, and hard cheese on a coarse grater.

2. Cut the washed and pre-soaked prunes into cubes. Put all the ingredients in a deep bowl.

3. Grate the garlic on a fine grater and add it to the future salad.

4. Dress the salad with mayonnaise, add salt and pepper to taste. Mix the salad.

5. Put the salad in a detachable mold and sprinkle with nuts on top.
