Golden pancakes that do not burn: what to cook

The pancakes do not burn and turn out golden, even if they are fried in a completely dry frying pan. You just need to choose the right base for the dough. All the ingredients should be mixed gradually to make the mass homogeneous.

The idea of making golden pancakes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Oksana Kretsul (oksana_kretsul). The dough is made with kefir.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • kefir - 400 ml
  • butter - 40 g
  • salt - a pinch
  • soda - 2/3 teaspoon
  • flour - 200 g (may be more, depending on the kefir)

Method of preparation:

1. Kefir should not be cold, it should be taken out of the refrigerator in advance.

2. Beat eggs with sugar until frothy, add a pinch of salt and half the flour, and mix.

3. Then add baking soda and kefir and mix thoroughly.

4. Add the rest of the flour gradually, taking into account the consistency of the dough (it should be like thick sour cream). Depending on the kefir, you may need a little more or less flour, so you should add a little at a time, kneading.

5. When the dough is ready, add the melted butter and mix thoroughly until smooth.

6. Fry in a non-stick frying pan, without adding oil.
