Georgian chashushuli made from Ukrainian vegetables: add everything you have in the garden

Chashushuli is a Georgian adaptation of the usual stew of vegetables and meat. But the taste of this dish is very rich and spicy, because it contains a lot of different spicy comparisons. Peppers, tomatoes, onions and various herbs that you have grown in your garden are perfect for such a culinary masterpiece.

The idea of cooking a spicy Georgian chashushuli was published on the Instagram page of chef Alex Mil (mil alexx). The dish has an exquisite restaurant look.

Ingredients:

  • veal tenderloin - 1 kg.
  • sweet pepper - 250 g
  • tomato - 500 g
  • onion - 250 g
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp
  • adjika - 2 tbsp.
  • oil - 20 g + 50 g of butter
  • salt, suneli hops, pepper
  • herbs and garlic - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Pour the oil into the frying pan.

2. Put the sliced pieces of veal (or beef) in medium slices.

3. Fry for 4-5 minutes, stirring.

4. Add butter and chopped onion, stirring, fry for 4 minutes.

5. Cover and stir occasionally and simmer over low heat for an hour and a half.

6. If the liquid boils, you can add a little water.

7. Peel the tomatoes and chop them finely.

8. Add tomato and diced pepper to the meat, add 1 hot pepper if desired.

9. Add tomato paste, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 2 tsp hops suneli, 2 tbsp adjika.

10. Stir everything and simmer under the lid for another 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

11. At the end, add chopped herbs (parsley or cilantro) and chopped garlic.

12. Stir, simmer for another 2-3 minutes and serve.
