Exquisite salad with eel: an exclusive recipe shared by Valerii Ponomar
Summer is the season for a variety of river and sea fish. This product has become a component of many restaurant dishes. But there are also culinary masterpieces that can be made at home. For example, eel salad. In this dish, the main product is complemented by absolutely budgetary components.
Ukrainian food blogger Valerii Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy) shared his exclusive recipe for eel and avocado salad.
Ingredients:
- avocado – 1/2 pc
- tomatoes – 1 pc
- lime juice – 1 tbsp
- unagi eel – 100 g
- nori leaves – 1/2 pc
Ingredients for pistachio paste:
- pistachios – 15 pcs
- garlic – 1/2 clove
- Parmesan cheese – 1 tbsp
- olive oil – 1 tbsp
- parsley – 3 sprigs
- Dijon mustard – 1/3 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the tomato and avocado into 3 mm thick slices, put them on a plate, and pour over the lime juice.
2. In a mortar, mix all the ingredients for the pistachio paste and grind well.
3. Spread the resulting paste in a thin layer on the avocado and tomatoes.
4. To make it easy to cut eel, you need to freeze it and extract the unagi sauce from it, so cutting will be more convenient.
