This cake is an ideal option for a budget-friendly quick dessert for tea. You don't need to roll out the dough for this pastry, because ordinary pita bread will do for the base. And for the filling, you can take frozen cherries that you have prepared since the summer.

The idea of making a sweet pita bread pie was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Halyna with the nickname sergeevnagalichka.

Ingredients:

  • Armenian lavash – 100 g
  • cottage cheese 2% – 180 g
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • sour cream 10% – 70 g
  • frozen cherries – 200 g
  • sesame seeds for decoration – 5 g (you can do without it)
  • sweetener to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Stir the egg well in a separate container, put part of it into the cheese, and leave the rest to grease the pita bread on top.

2. Mix the cottage cheese, part of the egg, sour cream, sweetener, and part of the cherries.

3. You don't need to mix the cherries with the cottage cheese.

4. Spread a thin layer of cheese mixture on the pita bread and spread it over the entire surface, then roll the pita bread into a roll.

5. Put the pita bread in the shape of a snail in a baking dish, brush with the remaining egg, garnish with the remaining berries and sesame seeds.

6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the pita bread is golden brown.
