Elementary appetizer crepes with crab sticks: prepare in minutes
A very simple and budget-friendly appetizer can be made from ordinary crepes. Crab sticks along with eggs, cheese, and garlic are perfect for the filling. It's also very satisfying.
The idea of making basic crepes with crab sticks was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname katia cooking. The crepe batter is best made with milk.
Ingredients for the filling:
- crab sticks – 200 g
- boiled eggs – 3-4 pcs
- cream cheese – 150 g
- salt, pepper – to taste
- garlic – optional
Ingredients for crepes:
- eggs – 2 pcs
- salt – 1 tsp
- sugar – 1 tsp
- flour – 200 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- warm milk – 500 ml
- butter – 2 tbsp
- hard cheese – 100 g
- greens – any
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the crab sticks and eggs on a coarse grater.
2. Combine, add spices, cream cheese, garlic.
3. Mix well and set aside.
4. For the crepes, mix the eggs, sugar, and salt until foamy.
5. Next, add the flour and baking powder.
6. Then add the milk gradually.
7. Add greens, cheese and oil, mix well.
8. Let stand for 10 minutes and fry.
9. Put the filling on the crepes and roll them up.
10. Cut obliquely, garnish with herbs.
