Eclairs that work the first time: a recipe with basic ingredients

If you think that eclairs are too complicated a dessert that requires a lot of manipulation and long cooking, you can be convinced otherwise.

For example, food blogger Oksana Pidhaina offered a recipe for this dessert made from basic ingredients on her Instagram page. According to her, even beginners in the kitchen will be able to make eclairs successfully.

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml of water
  • 100 g of butter
  • 5 eggs (you may need more)
  • 180 g of flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the filling:

Children's version:

  • Banana with cottage cheese.

Adult version:

  • 300 g of sour cream
  • 200 g of boiled condensed milk.

Method of preparation:

1. Bring water to a boil, add butter and salt. When it boils, add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.

2. Set aside, and let it cool down a bit so that you can freely touch it with your hand, i.e. so that the dough is warm.

3. Add the eggs in several stages. The dough should drip off the spatula like a ribbon. The author of the recipe needed 5.5 eggs for this, so you need to be prepared for this.

4. Then bake at 190 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

5. For the children's filling, you just need to combine cottage cheese with a banana (pre-mashed with a fork).

6. For the adult version, whip the sour cream, add the condensed milk, and beat again with a mixer. Then refrigerate for at least an hour and then fill the eclairs.
