Ingredients for a mold d16cm and 13cm high:
- Warm milk – 120 ml
- Dry yeast – 8 grams (or 21 grams of pressed yeast)
- Eggs – 2 pcs
- Sugar – 110 gr
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g
- Salt – 1/3 tsp
- Butter – 50 g
- Flour – 450 g
Ingredients for the filling:
- Butter – 80 gr
- Candied fruit – 110 g
Method of preparation:
1. All products should be at room temperature. Add eggs, salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar to a deep bowl and mix everything.
2. Add the melted butter and yeast. Stir until dissolved.
3. Add the warm milk, mix and gradually add the sifted flour. First mix with a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands on a work surface.
4. Put the elastic dough, which does not stick to your hands, into a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover it with cling film, and a towel, and set aside in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
5. Put the dough on a floured surface, stretch it with your hands, then use a rolling pin to make it 3-4 mm thick.
6. Brush the dough with butter and add the candied fruit.
7. Wrap the roll and seal the edges. Use a sharp knife to cut it into 2 parts, but do not cut it all the way through.
8. Fold up the top and wrap the 2 sides. Put them on top of each other.
9. Put on parchment, put a split mold on top, cover with cling film, and leave for 30-40 minutes.
10. Transfer to a preheated oven to 170-180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
