Easier than any cakes and casseroles: how to make a sweet strawberry crumble

You don't have to knead the dough for this dessert. All you need to do is put all the ingredients and the mold and bake. The base is seasonal juicy strawberries, as well as crumbs made from butter and flour.

The idea of making a sweet strawberry crumble was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yevheniia with the nickname ev.malinevska. You can eat it with a spoon.

Ingredients for the crème fraîche:

  • coconut flakes - 2 tbsp.
  • wheat flour - 3 tbsp
  • rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • brown sugar (cane or coconut sugar, can be replaced with white sugar) - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 30 g
  • coconut oil - 2 tbsp.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • fresh strawberries - 250-300 g
  • brown sugar - 1 tbsp
  • ground almonds - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - 20 ml.

Method of preparation:

1. Mix all dry ingredients for the crème fraîche in a bowl.

2. Add the grated butter and coconut oil.

3. Mix well with your hands, the mass should resemble a crumbly cookie texture.

4. Finely chop the strawberries and place them in a baking dish.

5. Add sugar, lemon juice and almonds. Stir to combine.

6. Spread the crumble evenly on the strawberries.

7. You can sprinkle ground almonds on top (grind almonds in a coffee grinder).

8. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees.

9. Let cool slightly and serve with a scoop of ice cream if desired
