Do chia seeds help to lose weight easily: the nutritionist gave the answer
Chia seeds alone do not contribute to easy weight loss.
According to La Vanguardia, Spanish nutritionist Aitora Sanchez said that there is no simple secret to help you lose weight effortlessly, and no product has such properties.
"It is not my intention to diminish the beneficial properties of chia, but do not think that the seeds have magical properties," he said.
According to the nutritionist, seeds contain a lot of nutrients, as, after all, they are the beginnings of life, clots of nutrients necessary for the growth of a new plant.
"A few years ago, we were only familiar with sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Today, chia seeds, sesame seeds, and flax seeds are actively used in food. These products are high in fiber and healthy fatty acids," Sanchez emphasized.
He added that chia seeds can indirectly help overweight people.
"The fact is that when soaked in water, these seeds release a characteristic mucus that can be used to make hearty puddings. However, chia seeds alone do not contribute to weight loss," the nutritionist concluded.
