A pie is an ideal baking option for combining a variety of seasonal fillings, but to make the dough fluffy, you need to choose the right base. And sour cream is perfect for this.

The idea of making a pie with berries and sour cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana (recepti_svitlana21).

Ingredients for the dough:

  • egg yolk - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp
  • butter - 100 g
  • flour - 250-300 g
  • baking powder - 1 tsp

Method of preparation:

1. Knead and divide into 2 unequal parts.

2. Put the smaller part in the freezer, and the larger one in the mold and form the bottom of the cake.

3. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Ingredients for the sour cream layer:

  • whites - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 150 g
  • sour cream - 600 g
  • vanilla sugar - 1 pack
  • corn starch - 5 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Mix sour cream, vanilla sugar, and starch.

2. Beat the whites with sugar until thick white mass.

3. Then add to the sour cream mixture.

4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the baked base and sprinkle with berries.

5. You can take any berries.

6. Then grate the frozen dough on top and bake at 160 degrees for 50 minutes.

7. Then at 180 degrees for another 10 minutes.

8. When the cake has cooled, sprinkle with powder and serve.
