Delicious five-minute mackerel: what to marinate fish in
Mackerel is most often baked or smoked. This fish is also delicious in marinated form. It takes only 5 minutes to prepare the product.
The idea of cooking spicy mackerel in five minutes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Inna Kliuchnyk (innakluchnik31). The meat just melts in your mouth.
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 1 kg
- onion - 300-500 g
- water - 350 g
- salt - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- vinegar - 40 g
- vegetable oil - 50 g
- allspice - 0.5 tsp.
- peppercorn mixture - 0.5 tsp.
- coriander peas - 1 tsp.
- cloves - 3-5 pcs.
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Clean the mackerel, wash it, cut it into portions.
2. Cut the onion into rings.
3. Put the rest in a deep saucepan in a layer.
4. Then put a layer of fish.
5. Top with another layer of onions.
6. Then add the spices.
7. In a separate bowl, mix water with sugar, salt, and vinegar. Everything should be well dissolved.
8. Pour the marinade over the fish.
9. Add oil on top.
10. Put on fire, boil for 5 minutes.
11. Turn off and leave to cool completely.
