Delicious apple and cottage cheese roll for breakfast for tea: what to make with pita bread
Sometimes the last thing you want to do in the morning is to bother with breakfast. And in such situations, simple, quick, and no less tasty dishes can help. Like, for example, a pita bread roll. Everything about it is perfect: juicy apple and cheese filling and a moderately crispy crust. It goes well with coffee or tea.
Food blogger Viktoriia Kosmyna(domanichkaa) shared the recipe for pita bread roll with apples and cheese on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- apples – 2 pcs
- eggs – 1 pc
- cottage cheese – 300-400 g
- lavash – 2 pcs
- raisins
- powdered sugar/sugar
- sesame seeds/coconut flakes
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and grate the apples.
2. Mix the apples with cottage cheese, sugar, and raisins (pre-steep with boiling water). Add the egg white. Mix well.
3. Spread the resulting mass evenly on a sheet of pita bread. Wrap it in a roll.
4. Grease the top of the roll with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
