Bagels are the simplest homemade pastry that is very easy and quick to prepare and can be stored for a long time. They can be eaten for breakfast, a snack, or simply with tea. The dough can be made simply with milk or water.

The recipe for bagels was shared by food blogger Larysa Rozhnova on her Instagram page.

Recipe for bagels.

Ingredients:

  • milk/water - 130 ml
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • baking powder - 5 g
  • flour - 450 g
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml
  • vanillin

Method of preparation:

1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead the dough. You can do it with just hands.

2. Form bagels.

3. Cook them in boiling water: 1 liter of water + 1 tbsp of sugar.

4. As soon as the bagels float to the top, place them on a paper towel and then on a baking sheet. You can sprinkle them with sesame or poppy seeds.

Preparation.

5. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
