Any fish soup is always a healthy and successful first course that perfectly combines seafood with other vegetables. Most often, this soup is made from red fish: it is quite rich and has a rich flavor. It is ideal for a light and satisfying lunch or dinner.

Red fish soup recipe

Ingredients:

  • salmon - 400-500 g + 1 ridge
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
  • cream (10-20%) - 250 ml
  • butter/olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • spices - salt, pepper, bay leaf, peppercorns, for fish
  • herbs - dill, parsley

Method of preparation:

1. Pour 3 liters of water into a saucepan. Wash the backbone and put it in the pot. Put on the fire and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and cook for another 20 minutes.

2. Add the peppercorns and bay leaf. Cook for another 10 minutes.

3. Strain the soup and continue cooking.

4. Meanwhile, prepare the roast. Dice the carrots and onions. Fry until golden brown.

5. Wash the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Cut the salmon meat.

6. Add the roast and potatoes to the broth. Cook until the potatoes are tender.

7. Add the fish. Cook for another 5 minutes.

8. Add salt, pepper, seasonings, and cream. Bring to a boil.

9. Chop the herbs and add to the soup.
