Cucumbers in grain Dijon mustard: recipe for a delicious preservation
In the middle of summer, the season of preserving various fruits and vegetables begins. Every housewife tries to make each dish as tasty as possible to enjoy it in the winter.
This year, for example, food blogger Marianna Ryzhman decided to preserve cucumbers cut into rings with Dijon mustard. She claims that the dish turns out to be extremely tasty and will taste great as an appetizer or as an addition to burgers, sandwiches, or shawarma. Ingredients
- cucumbers - 2 kg
- salt - 25 gr
- sugar - 150 gr
- oil - 50 ml
- 8% vinegar - 120 ml
- dry garlic - 1 tsp.
- ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
- sweet paprika - 1 tsp.
- turmeric - 1 tsp.
- French or Dijon mustard - 200 g
Method of preparation
1. Cut the cucumbers into rings.
2. Add all the spices and leave for 15-20 minutes to juice.
3. Put the cucumbers in sterile jars, cover with lids and sterilize for 10 minutes from the moment of boiling or until the color changes.
4. Close the lids, turn over, cover with towels and leave to cool completely.
