Crispy waffles from yesterday's mashed potatoes: how to cook a budget dish

Potatoes are such a versatile product that you can even make waffles from them. And yesterday's mashed potatoes are perfect for this. It makes a very satisfying and fluffy dough if you add just a few simple ingredients.

The idea of making crispy potato waffles was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Roksolana Herasymiv (roksolana.harasymiv).

Ingredients:

  • mashed potatoes – 200 g
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • cream – 60-70 g
  • butter or olive oil – 1 tsp
  • whole wheat flour – 2-3 tbsp
  • dill, spices

Cooking method:

1. Mix mashed potatoes with egg, cream, dill, butter, spices, flour.

2. Spoon the mixture onto a preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
