Crispy bagels that always turn out well: what to add to the dough
Bagels are the best homemade pastries for tea, coffee, and cocoa. They are most often made from shortcrust pastry, with various delicious fillings, which can be used: nuts, chocolate, raisins, jam, berries, cinnamon.
Cook Tetiana shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, crispy, flavorful homemade bagels that will turn out to be very successful.
Ingredients:
- butter - 200 g
- sour cream - 200 g
- vodka - 1 tbsp
- flour - 300 g
- salt - a pinch
- powdered sugar and topping - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour onto a work surface. Add a pinch of salt.
2. Rub the cold butter directly into the flour and mix.
3. Add sour cream and vodka and knead the dough. Cut the finished dough into 6 pieces and roll each into a ball, put in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
4. Then roll each ball into a thin round layer, sprinkle with flour and cut into 8 equal segments.
5. Put the filling on the edge of each one and roll it up, place on a baking sheet and bake at 200 C for 20 minutes.
Put the hot bagels in a bowl and sprinkle with powdered sugar!
