Crispy and thin zucchini pizza: quick and easy to bake
Crispy and thin pizza can be made not only from conventional dough based on yeast and flour. The dish can also be made with zucchini. The vegetable dough bakes very quickly, does not burn, and goes well with the toppings.
The idea of making zucchini pizza was published on the Instagram page of food expert Svitlana Levytska (lanas_diet).
Ingredients for the base:
- zucchini – about 600 g
- flour – 80 g + 10 g for sprinkling (I have whole wheat)
- eggs – 2 pcs
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the zucchini, and squeeze out the moisture as much as possible using cheesecloth or a towel.
2. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the dry zucchini mass, mix thoroughly, and put on a parchment sprinkled with flour.
3. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees until the sides are browned. Ideally, use the airflow mode.
Ingredients for the filling:
- tomato sauce – 1 tbsp with a slide (which is available, ketchup or paste diluted with water will do)
- mushrooms – 100 g
- tomatoes – 100 g
- red onion – 25 g
- pepper – 50-60 g
- mozzarella type cheese – 100 g
- oil – 10 g
- oregano
Method of preparation:
1. Cut all the vegetables into thin slices.
2. Grate the cheese.
3. Fry the mushrooms on both sides and sprinkle with oregano.
4. Grease the base with sauce, sprinkle with half of the cheese, put the vegetables, and sprinkle with the second part of the cheese on top.
