Clafoutis with cherries: making a traditional French dessert
Clafoutis is a French fruit dessert traditionally made from cherries placed on a buttered pan and covered with a thick dough. It is an extremely tasty dish that will make you dream of visiting France even more.
Food blogger Lisa Hlinska shared how to make clafoutis with cherries on Instagram. She showed the correct way to prepare the dough for this dessert.
Ingredients for a 30 cm baking dish:
- Eggs - 4 pcs
- Sugar - 80 gr
- Flour - 100 gr
- Cream 10% - 300 ml
- Sweet cherries - 500 g
The method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs with sugar and spices in a bowl with a whisk.
2. Add the flour and mix until the lumps disappear.
3. Add the cream and mix. The dough is ready.
4. Grease the ceramic mold with butter and put parchment on the bottom to make it easier to take out the clafoutis.
5. Put the berries in the mold. It is better not to remove the seeds from the cherries.
6. Pour the dough into the mold and send it to bake for 30-45 minutes at 180 degrees.
7. Let the dessert cool and remove it from the mold.
