Chicken kebab that will definitely turn out juicy: wrap the pieces in bacon
Despite the fact that chicken meat is quite dry, it is ideal for making kebabs. All you need to do is wrap the pieces in strips of bacon. It will give off enough fat, and the meat will be juicy enough and very soft.
The idea of cooking a juicy chicken kebab in the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Lyudmyla Kovtun (kovtun1938). If it's raining outside, you can cook the dish in the oven.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
- bacon - 2 packs (6 strips each)
- soy sauce - 3-5 tbsp
- seasoning for meat and a mixture of herbs (onions, dill, parsley) - to taste
- smoked paprika and granulated garlic - to taste.
- hot chili sauce - 1-2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the chicken fillet in half, and then each part into three strips.
2. Put in a bowl and pour the marinade: soy sauce, hot chili sauce, add seasonings), mix and leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
3. Next, put the meat on the bacon, roll it up, and skewer it.
4. Put the skewers on a baking sheet covered with parchment, brush with ketchup and soy sauce on top.
5. Put in the oven to bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
6. Sprinkle the finished kebab with onions and herbs.
