Cheese grated pie: how to prepare a popular dessert in an unusual way
Tart is quite a popular dessert in Ukraine. It is usually prepared with jam. But there is also a variant with cottage cheese filling. The texture of such pastries is very delicate, the chocolate dough base is crispy. A wonderful option for a family tea party.

Ingredients for the pastry:
- flour - 225 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- sugar - 75 g
- leavening agent - 10 g
- cocoa - 25 g
- salt - pinch
Ingredients for cottage cheese layer:
- cottage cheese (low-fat) - 500 g
- melted butter - 40 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- starch (cornstarch is better) - 40 g
- sugar - 75 g
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
Preparation method:
1. Pour flour, cocoa, baking powder, a pinch of salt, sugar or sugar substitute into a bowl.
2. Cut the hard butter with a knife, in thin slices.
3. Mix everything well into a uniform crumb.
4. Break the egg, knead a good dough.
5. Cut off a third of the dough and put it in the freezer (literally 5-6 minutes will suffice).
6. Place the remaining dough in a parchment-lined mold (diameter 15 cm).
7. Line the bottom and make high sides.
8. Put all the ingredients for the cheese layer in a bowl, whisk until smooth with a blender and pour into the baking dish.
9. Take out frozen dough and on a large grater, grate over the top.
10. Send to the oven at 170 degrees for 50 minutes.
