If you don't have an oven but still want to make a homemade cake for your family, don't worry. With this recipe, you can make a simple but extremely tender and delicious cake in a frying pan.
A food blogger with the nickname cook_with_me_at_home shared how to do this on Instagram. It turns out that this does not require any special skills or special ingredients.
Ingredients for cakes
- Flour - 450 gr
- Egg - 1 pc
- Baking powder - 1 p
- Condensed milk - 370 g
Ingredients for the cream
- Milk - 750 ml
- Sugar - 200 g
- Vanilla sugar - 2 p.
- Eggs - 3 pcs
- Flour - 3 tbsp
- Butter - 300 g
Method of preparation
1.First, prepare the cakes. Pour the condensed milk into a deep bowl, add the egg and baking powder. Mix well.
2.Gradually add the sifted flour, kneading the elastic dough.
3. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts, and roll out a circle equal to the diameter of the frying pan on a floured surface.
4. Pierce the cakes with a fork and fry on a well-heated dry frying pan until golden brown. About 1 minute on each side.
5. As the cakes bake, stack them on top of each other and cover with a towel.
6. The finished cakes can be leveled with a cake pan. Make crumbs from the scraps, which can then be used to decorate the cake.
7. Prepare the cream. Pour milk into a saucepan. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. Heat almost to a boil and immediately reduce the heat.
8. Whisk the eggs with a whisk and pour them into the hot milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly with a whisk.
9. Add the flour and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool to room temperature.
10. Beat the soft butter, gradually adding the custard at room temperature a spoonful at a time until a fluffy homogeneous mass is formed.
11. Spread the cake with cream and refrigerate for 2 hours, preferably overnight.
12. Decorate as desired.
