Ingredients:

  • milk - 130 g
  • dry yeast - 3 g
  • sugar - 40 g
  • vanilla sugar - 1 pack (16 grams)
  • egg - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 40 g
  • flour - 300 g
  • baking powder - 3 g

Ingredients for the filling:

  • jam, boiled condensed milk
  • cottage cheese or poppy seed filling

Ingredients for the greasing:

  • egg yolk - 1 pc.
  • milk - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Add yeast and sugar to warm milk.

2. Stir and leave for 10 minutes.

3. Add vanilla sugar, eggs and melted butter.

4. Stir with a whisk.

5. Add the flour and baking powder.

6. Knead the dough.

7. Cover with plastic wrap and leave to proof at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

8. Then form the buns and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Leave for another 15-20 minutes.

9. Brush with egg yolk and milk and bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. For more precise time, please refer to your oven.
