Bograch, which always turns out well: a recipe at home
Bograch is a thick soup prepared by housewives in Transcarpathia. It is very tasty if you cook it from different types of meat, vegetables and always with the addition of aromatic spices, especially paprika.
The recipe for bograch with pork, beef and vegetables was published in one of the culinary blogs (rum_bam_bar) on TikTok.
Ingredients:
- pork - 450 g
- beef - 400 g
- salted lard - 70 g
- potatoes (peeled) - 800 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- sweet bell pepper - 2 pcs.
- tomato - 1 pc.
- tomato sauce - 200 g
- paprika - 2 tbsp
- smoked paprika - 1-2 tbsp.
- hot peppers - 2 pcs.
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a saucepan for a few minutes.
2. Dice the onion and add to the bacon. Fry for 5 minutes.
3. Cut the meat into medium pieces and add to the pan. Fry for 5-7 minutes.
4. Cut the potatoes into medium cubes, add to the pan.
5. Simultaneously chop and add tomatoes and peppers, tomato sauce, hot peppers, paprika. Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat.
6. Add water, stir and cook over low heat until the potatoes are tender.
7. Add salt at the end of cooking.
