Better than sausage: homemade cold boiled turkey in a baking sleeve
Turkey meat is one of the healthiest, containing phosphorus, selenium, zinc, potassium and magnesium, as well as vitamins A, B, D and E. It is worth noting that it is very nutritious, has very little cholesterol and is considered dietary. It can be used to make soups, cutlets, and added to salads.
Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe a delicious cold boiled turkey with carrots and spices that will be better than any sausage on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- turkey fillet - 1 kg
- carrots - 1-2 pcs
- garlic - 2-3 cloves
- mustard - 1-2 tsp
- olive oil - 1-2 tbsp
- salt and spices for barbecue
- onions and celery - optional
- herbs and white wine - optional
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and cut the carrots into cubes.
2. Cut the garlic in half, along with the onion and celery.
3. Stuff the fillet with the carrots and garlic.
4. Brush the meat with mustard, sprinkle with salt and spices, pour oil over it, and leave it in the refrigerator overnight to marinate well.
5. Then put the meat in the mold, add the onion and celery, chopped into large pieces, and the wine.
6. Put in a baking sleeve and bake at 240 C for 1 hour.
