Better than mulled wine: how to make refreshing sangria at home

Sangria is a traditional Spanish low-alcohol drink that will perfectly quench your thirst on hot summer days. It is made based on wine and is very similar to the well-known mulled wine. It is very difficult to spoil sangria, as there are many recipes and you can combine any alcoholic beverages, as well as berries and fruits.
Food blogger Nataliia Lytvyniuk shared a recipe for a refreshing sangria drink on her Instagram page, which is made with white wine, citrus fruits, and mint.
White wine sangria recipe

Ingredients:
- white wine – 750 ml
- water – 750 ml
- sugar – 3-4 tbsp
- orange – 2 pcs
- lemon – 1 pc
- lime – 1 pc
- mint
- ice

Method of preparation:
1. Pour wine into a large container.
2. Dissolve sugar in water and add the liquid to the wine.
Champagne sangria

3. It is advisable to keep the fruit in the refrigerator before cooking. Wash and cut into slices. Add to the wine, mix, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
4. Add ice and mint before serving. Add a piece of the suggested fruit.
