Ingredients:
For the dough:
- softened butter – 200 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- sour cream – 6 tbsp
- egg – 1 pc
- flour – 350 g
- sugar – a pinch
- salt – a pinch
For the filling:
- hard cheese – 300 g
- eggs – 3 pcs
- strawberries – 200 g
- sugar – 1 tbsp
- basil – 5 sprigs
- egg yolk – 1 pc
- salt – 1/2 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Mix wheat flour, baking powder, softened butter, and egg in a bowl, mix and add sour cream, sugar, and mix again.
2. Knead the dough by hand into a smooth, elastic dough and leave it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the butter to cool slightly.
3. Next, divide the dough into two parts: 2/3 of it is used for the base of the cake, and 1/3 for the top layer.
4. Put out most of the dough and roll it out, then transfer it to the mold so that there are sides.
5. Grate the cheese and put it on the bottom of the dough.
6. Wash and slice the strawberries and place them on top of the cheese.
7. Put the basil on the strawberries.
8. Mix 3 eggs with 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of salt in a bowl, beat a little, and pour into the mold.
9. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, pinch the edges of the pie in any way you like, and brush the top with 1 egg yolk.
10. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 C.
