Beet hummus: how to prepare a simple and healthy dish in a few minutes

Beet hummus is a simple, and most importantly, healthy snack. And when combined with fresh avocado, it becomes simply unsurpassed.

A food blogger with the nickname kate deliciouss knows exactly how to make beet hummus. On Instagram, she advises making this dish if you have boiled beets left over.

Ingredients

  • beetroot (boiled or baked)
  • chickpeas
  • tahini
  • salt
  • pepper
  • kefir
  • sesame seeds
  • oil
  • baguette
  • avocado

The method of preparation

1. Beat the cooked beets and chickpeas in a 1:1 ratio with a blender.

2. Add kefir (you can adjust the consistency with it).

3. Add tahini, salt, and pepper. If you don't have tahini, this paste is easy to make yourself. Just blend the toasted sesame seeds and add a little olive oil.

4. Cut the baguette into slices, brush with oil and dry in the oven.

5. Put the hummus and sliced avocado on a plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with a dried baguette. You can store the finished dish in the refrigerator for a day.
