Baked potato pancakes in pots: how to prepare a familiar dish in a new way
We are used to frying traditional potato pancakes (deruny) in a pan. Therefore, the dish can turn out a bit greasy. To prevent this from happening and make the pancakes juicy and soft, you can bake them.
The idea of baked potato pancakes in pots was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Eduard Nasirov (my_happyfood).
Ingredients:
- 600 g of potatoes, grated on a fine grater
- 1 onion, grated
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp of sour cream
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp of flour
- salt and pepper
- oil for frying
- 300 g of mushrooms, chopped
- dry porcini mushrooms
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- 300-400 ml of sour cream
- salt pepper
- spices - to taste
- cheese - optional
- oil - for frying
How to make the sauce:
1. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the mushrooms and garlic and continue to fry for another 4-5 minutes.
2. Add all other ingredients and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Mix all the ingredients for the pancakes and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
4. Put the pancakes and gravy in a pot in layers, covering with cheese if desired.
5. Put the pot in a 200-degree oven for 30 minutes.
