Baked chop with dried fruit: a dish that will make your Easter basket perfect

We bring to your attention a recipe for a baked chop with dried fruit. This is a dish of incredible beauty that will turn an Easter basket into a real work of art. Also, the chop has an unusual but very interesting taste and aroma that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ingredients

  • Carbonate or loin - 1 kg
  • Figs - 4-5 pieces
  • Dried apricots - 10-12 pieces
  • Smoked prunes - 10-12 pcs
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves
  • Pepper - ½ tsp
  • Paprika - 1 tsp.
  • Provencal herbs - 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice - 1-2 tsp.

Method of preparation

1.Make 5 cuts on the meat, without cutting the meat to the end.

2. Add salt and rub the meat on all sides, including the cuts.

3. Put the figs in the middle cut along the entire length. Put dried apricots in both cuts on the sides of the figs, and prunes in the remaining ones.

4. Combine oil, chopped garlic, spices, salt and lemon juice in a separate container.

5. Brush the meat with the marinade on all sides and wrap it tightly in two layers of parchment. You can tighten it with culinary thread.

6. Next, wrap the meat in two layers of foil. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour, then remove the foil and parchment and bake for another 15 minutes.
