Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
  • chicken drumsticks - 4 pcs.
  • onion - 1 pc (cut into slices)
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • freshly squeezed lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  • sugar - 1/4 tsp.
  • garlic - 2 cloves (chop)
  • Italian seasoning - 1 tsp.
  • coarse pepper - 1/2 - 1 tsp.
  • salt - to taste
  • lemon, thinly sliced - 4-5 pcs.
  • fresh parsley and thyme - 2 tbsp, finely chopped (for sprinkling)

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the potatoes into slices.

2. Place the potatoes, chicken drumsticks, onion and lemon in a baking dish.

3. Combine olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, garlic, Italian herbs, coarse pepper, and salt.

4. Brush the drumsticks and potatoes well with the mixture.

5. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees.

6. Bake for 30 minutes.

7. Remove and spoon off excess liquid.

8. Put back in the oven and bake for another 30 minutes (until the chicken drumsticks are tender).

8. Garnish with finely chopped parsley and thyme.
