Therefore, you should definitely add this product to your diet because it is not only tasty but also very affordable, especially if you have found mushrooms in the forest yourself. In Transcarpathia, this ingredient is even used to make a special traditional dish called machanka. This is a very tasty and delicate gravy that can be eaten with mashed potatoes, dumplings, and varenyky.

Ingredients:

  • porcini mushrooms - 400 g
  • sour cream - 500 ml
  • milk - 1 glass
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • flour - 1 tbsp
  • water - 100 ml
  • butter - 1 tbsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp (or more)
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the porcini mushrooms, cut them into pieces and cook.

2. After boiling, cook for another 5-10 minutes.

3. Prepare the sauce: combine sour cream and flour in a bowl.

4. Stir.

5. Add milk, egg, water, pepper and salt.

6. Mix well.

7. When the mushrooms are ready, drain the water.

8. Fry in vegetable oil and butter over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

9. When the mushrooms are ready, pour the sauce over them and cook over high heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

10. The sauce will begin to thicken.

11. Taste for salt. If it's not enough, add more. Mix well.

12. Serve with dumplings or mashed potatoes.
