Apple jam pies: a recipe for a successful dough
In the process of making pastries, the most important thing is to make a good dough, which determines the taste and shelf life of the bakery product. The filling can be anything: salty or sweet.
Food blogger Lilia with the nickname lileklilek2 shared a recipe for yeast pies with jam on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- milk – 300 ml
- yeast – 40-50 g
- sugar – 2 tbsp.
- salt
- flour – 3 tbsp.
Dough:
- eggs – 3-4 pcs.
- sugar – 1 tbsp.
- sour cream – 1-2 tbsp.
- butter – 60 g
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- vanilla
- cinnamon
- flour – 1-1.1 kg
- jam (for the filling)
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, mix the necessary ingredients, cover with foil and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.
2. After that, gradually add the necessary ingredients for the dough to the finished dough. The dough should be elastic, smooth, and not stick to your hands. Leave the finished dough in a warm place for 1 hour.
3. When the dough has risen well, mix it and leave it for another 30 minutes.
4. At this stage, grease the surface and hands with vegetable oil. Form portioned balls from the finished dough, and cover them with a dry towel for 15 minutes.
5. Wrap the filling in each ball to form patties. Put on a baking sheet and leave for 30-40 minutes.
6. Bake in a preheated oven to 160-170 degrees for 45 minutes.
