Apple jam like marmalade: you need only two ingredients

Apple jam is not only a filling for baked goods or a spread on a roll, but also a sweet dessert in its own right. Its texture is very delicate and soft, and its color is golden. The taste is very similar to marmalade, but very natural, without the addition of dyes and preservatives.

The idea of making delicious apple jam was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Liana (cooking_by_lyana).

Ingredients:

  • apples -1500 g (peeled and cut)
  • sugar - 800 g

Method of preparation:

1. Wash, peel, and cut the apples into thin slices (divide the apple into 4 parts and chop).

2. Cover with sugar and leave for two hours.

3. Put on low heat and cook for 15 minutes, turn off.

4. Do this 2 more times (turn off, cook again for 15 minutes, turn off, when it hardens a little, put it on the gas again).

5. Sterilize the jars and lids.

6. At the end, beat with a blender for homogeneity, but you can leave it in pieces.

7. Pour into jars and close the lids.
