Meat and vegetables are the perfect combination for lunch. Such foods contain the necessary amount of nutrients that the body needs to compensate for energy. You can also add a delicious cereal. For example, couscous.

The idea of cooking couscous with vegetables and meat for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil alexx fit). Everything is stewed very quickly.

Ingredients:

  • chicken or turkey fillet - 500 g
  • couscous - 250 g
  • water - 900 ml.
  • tomato puree - 250 g
  • onion - 150 g
  • sweet pepper - 150 g
  • carrot - 150 g
  • zucchini - 150 g
  • peas - 120 g
  • garlic - 5-6 cloves
  • salt, pepper, paprika, coriander, suneli hops
  • oil for frying - 30 g
  • herbs for serving

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the chicken fillet, cut into strips, in vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.

2. Add the diced onion and carrot, crushed garlic and all the spices, about 1 tsp each.

3. Stir fry for 7 minutes.

4. Pour in the tomato puree.

5. Add the diced pepper and zucchini.

6. Pour water, add peas.

7. Bring to a boil and cook for 7-10 minutes.

8. Add the couscous.

9. Stir and cook for another 7-8 minutes.

10. To serve, sprinkle with greens as desired.
