10 ingenious ways to use orange peel: don't throw it away
If you still throw away orange peels, you should stop doing so. This rather primitive product can be useful in the household for a variety of purposes. And not just for food.
Nutritionist victoria_slimness shared how you can use orange peel on her Instagram page.
The expert notes that the peel contains more nutrients than the flesh. For example, there is more vitamin C in the peel.
To use the peel, it must first be washed (with boiling water and baking soda) and then dried. This can be done on a battery, in the sun, or the oven at a minimum temperature. You can use it in this form or grind it into powder with a coffee grinder.
How to use orange peel:
1. As an addition to tea – it is beautiful, tasty, and healthy.
2. In pastries and other desserts, for better flavor and delicate taste.
3. To spice up salads and sauces.
4. As a spice for meat, vegetables, beans, cereals.
5. In a face mask.
6. You can apply a paste of powder and water to your scalp as a mask, then rinse and enjoy the effect.
7. You can add the strained solution to your bath after boiling a small amount of peels.
8. As a body scrub.
9. Make scented bags and put them in wardrobes and chests of drawers to keep your clothes and shoes smelling fresh.
10. You can pour the peels with vinegar – in a week you will get a cleaner for windows, floors, doors, and showers.
