Zucchini rolls: an interesting recipe for a tasty dish
One of the most delicious, budget-friendly and simple vegetables is zucchini, which can be eaten in any form: pickled, baked, made into pancakes and salads, as well as pies, casseroles, cutlets, pasta and pancakes. But you can also experiment and make stews, rolls, and even cabbage rolls from it.
Cook Anna (anny.cooking) shared a recipe for delicious, light zucchini rolls that taste no different from the classic cabbage ones on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 2-3 pcs
- any minced meat - 300
- onion - 1 pc
- rice - 100 g
- carrots - 1 pc
- garlic - 2 cloves
Sauce:
- tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp
- water - 250 ml
- sour cream - 1 tsp
- suneli hops - to taste
- oil, salt, ground black pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the rice.
2. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a small grater, and fry everything in a little oil until golden brown.
3. Grate the garlic.
4. Combine the minced meat, garlic, boiled rice, fried onions and carrots, salt, and black pepper, and mix well.
5. Cut the zucchini into slices with a vegetable peeler, wrap the filling in each slice and place in either a baking dish or a large frying pan.
6. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste and pour over the zucchini.
Cooking tip: cook in a frying pan under a closed lid over low heat for 35 minutes and bake without foil for another 20 minutes.
