Zucchini casserole with cheese and onions: recipe for a budget dish

Zucchini can be used to make delicious pancakes, pies, casseroles, and chips very quickly. Zucchini also makes savory caviar, sauces, and canned snacks.

A chef shared a recipe for a delicious and satisfying zucchini casserole with hard cheese and garlic on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • zucchini - 1 kg
  • onions - 1 pc
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • hard cheese - 200 g
  • sour cream - 150 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • flour - 150 g
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the zucchini. Add salt and leave for 15 minutes. Finely chop the onion.

2. For the batter, mix eggs with sour cream, add salt, pepper and flour, and mix.

3. Drain the zucchini, add the batter and mix. Add half the cheese and mix again.

4. Put the base in a buttered baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake at 180 C for about 40 minutes.

You can add meat and herbs!
