Zucchini and cheese chips: how make them crispy outside and soft inside
The zucchini season has begun. This means that it's time to come up with a lot of different dishes from this vegetable.
A food blogger with the nickname valerikiry posted a very interesting and unusual recipe using zucchini on Instagram. She suggested making chips with cheese, which are crispy on the outside and extremely tender on the inside.
Ingredients
- medium zucchini - 2 pcs
- flour - 4 tbsp
- baking powder - ½ tsp
- eggs - 2 pcs
- cottage cheese - 100 g
- salt
- dried garlic
- pepper
- paprika
Method of preparation
1. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater, add 0.5 tsp salt, and mix. Wait 5 minutes until the juice is released and squeeze well.
2. Add eggs, grated cheese, and flour, and spices and herbs as desired. Stir to combine.
3. Put a spoonful on silicone parchment, form flat "pancakes" and put in a preheated 200-degree oven for 20 minutes.
4. You can serve it with sour cream or eat it as a separate dish.
