Zrazy in a new way: what to add to make a perfect dish
Zrazy is one of the lightest, most satisfying and easy-to-prepare potato dishes. You can make them with different fillings, but the most important thing is to make a good dough, which determines the taste and appearance of the dish.
The FoodOboz editorial team has selected a recipe for delicious, homemade zrazy with meat that will turn out to be very satisfying and golden. The recipe was published on the Instagram page of the food blog tastystories.feed.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 kg.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- onions - 2 pcs.
- pork heart or lungs - 200 g
- meat (can be veal) - 200 g
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.
- flour - 2-3 tbsp.
- salt, pepper, dill - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the potatoes. Add the eggs, flour, salt to taste, and mix everything.
2. For the filling, cook the meat and heart or lungs for about 40 minutes until soft. Add bay leaf to the water. Afterwards, pass the meat through a meat grinder, add salt, pepper, spices and dill. Fry the onion and add to the filling.
3. Form zrazy from the potato dough, put the filling in, pinch well, roll in flour and fry in preheated vegetable oil, covering with a lid in the first minutes of cooking. Then fry uncovered until golden brown.
