Stewed cabbage can be made with vegetables, minced meat, bacon, prunes, and apples. To prevent the cabbage from being hard, cooks recommend adding tomato paste.

Ingredients:
- Cabbage (young)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Onion
- Carrots
- Salt, pepper – to taste
- 1 teaspoon of Provencal herbs
- 300 g of minced meat
- Eggs
- Onions
- Salt, pepper – to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried garlic
- Vegetable oil
- 100 ml of water
- 100 ml of cream
- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
Method of preparation:
1. Pour oil into a frying pan, put the cabbage, and cook over medium heat. Also, add a chopped onion and one grated carrot.
2. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add Provencal herbs, and cook under a closed lid over low heat.
3. Meanwhile, add 1 egg, finely chopped onion, salt and pepper, and half a teaspoon of dried garlic to the minced meat. Mix well and make small balls.
4. Fry in a frying pan on both sides, then add water, cream, and tomato sauce. Simmer for a few more minutes.
5. Put it all in the cabbage, mix well, and cook for 2-3 minutes under the lid closed.
