In summer, salads are best made with fresh vegetables and herbs. If you dress them with vegetable oil and yogurt instead of mayonnaise, this will make them even healthier.

Light young cabbage salad

The cook shared a recipe for a delicious salad of young cabbage, cucumbers and peas on Instagram.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • young cabbage - 1/2 piece (200-250 g)
  • canned peas - 1 can
  • herbs (dill, parsley, green onions) - a bunch
  • cucumber - 2-3 pcs.

For the dressing:

  • salt - 1/3 tsp.
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp.
  • sour cream - 4 tbsp.
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • garlic - 1 clove.

Method of preparation:

1️. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and put it in a deep bowl convenient for mixing.

2️. Finely chop the greens, add to the cabbage together with canned peas and chopped cucumbers. Adjust the amount of everything as desired.

3️. For the dressing, add grated garlic, medium-hot mustard, salt, ground black pepper to the sour cream and mix well.

4. Add to the chopped vegetables in a bowl and stir to combine.
