You probably did it wrong: how to cook buckwheat soup properly
One of the most delicious homemade soups is buckwheat one. To make it really tasty and flavorful, cooks advise adding mushrooms, which will give the soup a unique flavor.
A cook shared a recipe for a delicious and easy-to-make buckwheat soup with mushrooms and herbs on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- white/forest dried mushrooms - 1 handful
- water - 0.5 liters
- broth - 2.5 liters
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- oil/butter - for frying
- buckwheat - 90 g
- potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
- spices: salt, pepper, bay leaf - to taste
- greens - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the mushrooms in water overnight. Strain in the morning. Strain the broth into this water. Finely chop the mushrooms.
2. Put the grated carrots and finely chopped onions in a frying pan heated with oil and fry until soft.
3. Bring the broth to a boil and remove the foam.
4. Put the chopped mushrooms into the boiling broth. After 30 minutes, add the washed buckwheat and cook for 10 minutes. Then add the chopped potatoes and roast. Add the bay leaf, salt, and pepper and cook until the potatoes are tender.
Add finely chopped herbs, stir and you're ready to eat!
