To make classic potato pancakes more delicious and not dry, add a delicate mushroom sauce to them. You don't even have to add sour cream to the pancakes. Also, don't forget to add enough onions to prevent the products from turning black.
The idea of making potato pancakes with mushroom sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Natalia with the nickname talli_sun . The sauce is based on cream.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc.
- egg - 1 pc.
- flour - 1 tbsp
- salt, pepper
- mushrooms - 5-6 pcs.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- thyme
- cream - 200 ml.
- hard cheese (Parmesan) - 1 tbsp. grated
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the potatoes and onions on a fine grater.
2. Add egg, salt, pepper, flour.
3. Mix and fry until golden brown on both sides.
4. Chop the garlic, put it in the pan.
5. Add the mushrooms, cut into medium pieces, and thyme.
6. Fry until the liquid evaporates.
7. Pour in the cream, season with pepper, and add the cheese.
8. Cook for a few minutes until thickened.
9. Put the sauce on the potato pancakes.
