Yeast-free pancakes: puffy, tender and easy to prepare
Pancakes are a great breakfast option that everyone loves. They are served with sour cream, condensed milk, or your favorite jam. Typically, pancakes are made with yeast dough and are very fluffy.
But a food blogger with the nickname tania sheremet on Instagram told us how to make fluffy and tender pancakes without yeast. This breakfast option is much faster and dietary.
Ingredients
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt - ½ tsp
- sugar - 3 tbsp
- warm 2.5% kefir - 300 ml
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- soda - 1/3 tsp
- flour - 280 g
- vanilla sugar
- oil for frying
Method of preparation.
1. Break the egg into a bowl, add sugar, salt, and mix. Add warm kefir, sifted flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix until smooth and a thick mass is obtained. Pour it into a pastry bag.
2. Pour oil into the pan, heat it up, and then spoon the batter.
3. The pancakes should be about 80% cooked on one side over low heat. Turn over and fry for about a minute on the other side.
4. Remove from the pan and put on a paper towel. Enjoy with your favorite toppings: honey, sour cream, or jam.
