Yeast-free donuts and baking in 15 minutes: what to use for the dough

Who doesn't love delicious, flavorful, and very fluffy pastries? That's exactly what donuts are: airy and melt-in-your-mouth. There are many recipes for this dessert. But if you don't have much time to cook, you'd better pay attention to donuts, which can be made with kefir and deep-fried.

Food blogger Vitaliia (vitala_foodblog) shared a recipe for kefir donuts on her Tik-Tok page that can be deep-fried in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • kefir – 700 ml
  • baking soda – 1.5 tsp
  • salt – a pinch
  • sugar – 4 tbsp
  • vegetable oil – 100 ml
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • vanilla sugar
  • flour
  • powdered sugar

Method of preparation:

1. To prepare the dough, gradually mix all the ingredients. At the end, add flour and knead an elastic dough that will not stick to your hands.

2. Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out each of them at least 1 centimeter wide.

3. Use a glass to cut out circles. Cut even smaller circles inside each circle.

4. Deep-fry the doughnuts until golden brown.

5. When serving, sprinkle the donuts with powdered sugar.
