Beets are one of the most delicious and healthy vegetables that can be the basis for sauces and healthy salads. It can also be eaten raw and added to canned food.
The chef shared a recipe for a healthy beetroot salad with orange, honey, and nuts on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Beets – 1 pc
- Orange – 1 pc
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Orange juice – 1 tbsp
- Honey – 1 tsp
- Walnuts – 1 tbsp
- Orange zest – 1/2 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Bake or boil the beets, and cut them into large cubes.
2. Cut the flesh from the orange without the films, it is more convenient to do this with a vegetable knife.
3. Fry the walnuts in a frying pan and chop them, add spices, oil, and orange zest.
4. Put the vegetables and orange in a bowl, pour the sauce over them and mix.
