A tasty, easy-to-prepare and very quick appetizer that goes perfectly with croutons, white bread and even tartlets is a spread. They can be made from a variety of products, from fish to meat, herring, caviar, onions and cheese.

Ingredients:
Base:
- fillet or chicken thigh - 400-450 g
- carrots - 120 g
- onion - 120 g
- olive oil - 1-2 tbsp.
- nutmeg - 1/3 tsp.
- butter - 60 g
- salt and pepper - to taste
For one variant:
- sun-dried tomatoes - 40 g
For the 2nd variant:
- champignons - 130 g
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
- salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the chicken in salted water until tender. Coarsely chop the onion and carrot and fry in olive oil until soft.
2. Put the boiled meat and vegetables in a blender bowl, add butter, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and the broth in which the meat was cooked. Blend until smooth and divide into 2 parts.
3. Add finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes to 1 part.
4. Add finely chopped and fried mushrooms to the second part. Mix the two spreads and leave them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to harden.
